I have yet to begin any serious modifications to my 07' Fz6. I've been considering different exhaust cans or system for a while, but I like the look of the bike stock without fender eliminators and don't want to do anything to radical . Today I got the the idea of building two simple cans to replace the stock block system in the back that would fit where the plastic covers are now. Simple would be the name of the game just bend two pieces of metal into cylinders, add packing into them, attach db killers???, then build a 1 into 2 directly after the cat.
Is this a good idea, has it been done before, Pro's Con's or just scrap the whole idea and shell out a couple hundred bucks.
