So I decided to give the beast her first proper clean since buying her (not quite to wolfman's photoshoot standard of clean, but clean). I rode in a fair bit of rain recently and the bike was covered in mud and sand.

I know you guys use the term 'need pics' quite freely, so as I thought I'd share some pictures of probably the second cleanest fizzer around.

Here comes the bike porn.

Not too long. Luckily the previous owner cleaned the bike more than he rode it. So it was in amazing condition when I bought it.
All I did was wet it, spray 'muc off' all over, rinse. Then a bit of car shampoo in water with a brush for the wheels and a sponge for the bodywork. Rinse. Towel dry. That's all, no wax, nothing. I am quite lazy when it comes to cleaning, so I try to normally give it a little clean often, to stop any build up of nasties.

Looks very close to mine! Big fan of the red rim-stripes, really pops against the black. I also like the Red "Fazer" logo on the Euro bikes. Anyone know where I might be able to pick up one of those decals in America? I think it would help the red accents on my bike pop a little more.

Nice looking bike

Just washed her yesterday but then rode home in the rain.

I always have this problem as if I clean the bike it's generally in the evening (when the kids are in bed), and I ride it to work, so the next morning it's dirty again :(
