Question FZ8 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

I have 2013 FZ8 and upon reaching 6000 rpms under any acceleration scenarios the check engine light illuminates and all throttle response goes away. The light will stay on for different durations before going off but during light on bike runs smooth but no power,light off normal response returns nut not able to go above 6000rpms.Tps was replaced and set to specs,valves were shimmed to specs,plugs were changed,o2 sensor was replaced,no mods to this bike 100 percent stock yamaha.56000 miles. Any help would be appreciated

I don’t know a thing about the FZ8 (other than it was an awesome replacement for the FZ6) and I believe that the EFI is not the same as the FZ6. However I do know this, if the CEL is illuminating then a code is being registered and stored in the system. What codes are being shown in the instrument cluster?

If this was occurring after a valve lash adjustment I'm wondering if the mechanical timing is off. Find the error code. Check CPS and mechanical timing.
