FZ6 or FZ6R 2009? Canadian version

Hi everybody!

i'm a newbee in your forum ( excuse my english if i make mistake, i'm french speeking )

i'm looking for change my bike this summer..i have a katana 750 2k5.

i want to know the difference between the FZ6 and FZ6R 2009. (canadian version )
and wich one is nearest from the R6 for the performance?

a dealer tell me then the FZ6 2009 have less HP than the older version of FZ6....is't true?

how many HP the FZ6 2009 have?

More torque/power + lighter weight = FZ6 is faster better all around bike. If you really want R6 (peaky) power buy a R6 if you want an everyday useable powerband buy the FZ6 if you really like the look of a faired bike thats comfortable get the FZ6R :thumbup:

FZ6 all the way. FZ6R is more for pure begginers in which you are not one of them. Just get the FZ6 and unleash her awesome power. :thumbup:
 
I am with everyone else. The naked fizzer is just a better bike in general. Faster, Lighter and IMO better looking. Also their will be more after market part for the FZ6
 
With the minimal price difference, the full FZ6 really is a much better bike over the FZ6R. More power, better handling, better brakes, roomier if you're a bigger guy, established after market support. I really don't think there should be any question here
