FZ6 Front Fender

Hey guys,

Just a quick question, are the front fenders on the FZ6's interchangeable? My roommate tried to life my bike by the fender and let's just say he's buying me a new one...I drive a black '05.

Looks like they changed for the '07s+. You'll need a pre '07.

Yeah, a '07+ fender won't work on a '04-'06. The mounting points are completely different.

But...the FZ6R fender is the same as the '04-'06 FZ6 fender, so you can also use one of those. I don't know what color you have, but if you wanted a different color besides black, you could go that route. They run about $70 new.

I'll be replacing the black front fender on my '06 blue with a blue FZ6R fender before too long.

Thanks guys, that's exactly what I was looking for...

Anyone know if the YZF R6 fenders have the same mounting pattern/would work?

I'm thinking I'm going to either stick with a direct (black) replacement or go carbon fiber

The OEM black fenders are fairly inexpensive, I’ve bought two already.

Before you ask; our puppy chomped one and the other cracked at one of the mounting points.
