FZ6 2007 Brakelight / turn signal.

Just got this bike about a week ago and am not happy with the brake light / turnsignal system on the back. Any suggestions as to where I could buy a different set that is brighter and more noticeable? Thanks.

:welcome: to the forum! There is a more expensive tailamp assembly made for the fz6 called Motodynamic but I don't know if it's brighter than the stock OEM lamp. The stock OEM from Yamaha is different than a standard 1157 type automotive lamp in that it has a bridge in the filament that makes it more robust than a standard automotive 1157. I believe the OEM may also be brighter. When I had my FZ6 I installed a 1157 equivalent LED lamp in the stock tail light assembly and it was brighter than the OEM. I put a SINGLE, 16 LED Hyper lite just above my tag. I used the combo flashing brake and running light.

It is WAY brighter than the stocker, and is separate so should your stock bulb blow, the LED still works...

replacement is good imo. i just got this one for $28 on Amazon. not fancy but looks good and works well. thing is signals do appear to have greenish tint as vid shows.

but sure its a bright taillight and brake light / signal
combo
