FZ 1 Bars

I put on a new pair of FZ1 bars tonight and took a quick spin. The bars are way better than the stock bars as they seem to have too much of a sweep. The new bars feel more natural and similar to my motocross bars on my YZF450. This is a good mod to do and make the bike handle better in my opinion.

I just finished mounting my FZ1 bars and Stebel horn. I will take it for a spin tomorrow. I noticed your bars are rotated forward. The tips are pointing up. Mine are lower, maybe thats why the controls hit the tank at full rotation. I will try a couple different positions tomm. AM

Yeah, OP, you definitely want to loosen the top clamp and rotate those bars down until they're flat from side to side. You'll know you've got them in the right place when you've got about 1/8" between the bottom of the kill switch housing and the tank and the turn signal housing on the other side and the tank (at full lock, left and right).

The grips shouldn't be pointing up like that at all.

Yes, brought them down a bit as they where too high and now it is much better.
