fuse ror sat nav?

Hi just wired in sat nav(tom tom) to bike through cig lighter adaptor. could anyone advice me please what fuse would be needed .Have wired in 3 amp?

Check the specs for the nav unit and see what the amp draw is. They usually derate them by about 25% for safety. Then you can make the fuse selection based on that figure. In a DC circuit you can usually multiply the amp draw by 1.5 and go with a fuse close to that. Hope that helps.
