Fuel indicator problem.

Anybody ever have the indicator flash full all the time?Flashes 8 times then clear.

No,but I have had mine flash empty alternately with the clock

I think someone else said it could be a problem with the fuel level sensor wire that connects under the tank.

Agree, I had the same problem after a crash. Check the wire going from the fuel pump up to the instrumentation, mine was broken. Locate the two connectors under the fuel pump, check the connection and then follow (with a multimeter) the green/white wire up to the intrumentation.

Check also the electrical resistence between this wire and the black one on the same connector to be between 20 (tank full) and 140 ohms (tank empty).

Would that also work for an indicator that was working fine but now, despite a recently filled tank, continually shows the tank at half full?
