frame slider help please!

howdy folks, I just picked up a set of pro-tek frame sliders. Install instructions say to install the large slider on the right and small slider on the left..which makes very little sense to me considering the engine sticks out farther on the left. Anyone installed the pro-teks or have any input? The pro-tek site is worthless....

I did non-proteks frame sliders, the longer one goes on the left as you are sitting on the bike and the shorter one goes on the right. Follow torque specs closely as I have read it is easy to strip threads on the frame.
