hahah, alright alright.
But I mean take 3-4 months and venture out in "pursuit" of something. No idea what but something meaningful so that when it all does come together it becomes something truly life affirming.
Motorcycle adventure is to us today what being a lone horsemen was to people a thousand years ago. The same spirit that drove people to expand and push their boundaries can be enjoyed today still. That spirit is what brought our species together and has moved us forwards. Reclaiming that now can continue that same forward progress. That's not to say it wouldn't happen anyway, but there is something truly remarkable about going about it in the relatively primitive way of land-based motorized bicycle travel. We are in no way different than those that came before us.
Big motorbike trips are like taking your finger and making a stroke along a globe on a desk. The world is such a massive place yet simultaneously so very small. Just a rock hurtling through space with some dirt and rock on it.....might as well reach out and explore our backyard here. We are all we have. The sooner we realize that the sooner we understand how fundamental our similarities are and how monumentally retarded our differences are. Really grinds my gears sometimes. People on one side of this rock going on about other people on "their" rock.
