fork seals shop or myself

So I started to do my fork seals and got the one I need off and now I'm stuck I got dust cap off the clip and I'm attempting to unscrew the hex bolt on bottom but it just keeps spinning am I doing something wrong? some store offered to do it for 95$ I'm hoping u guys know what to do

Stick a broom handle into the fork to hold the damper rod from spinning. And use a seal driver to install the new seals or you're just wasting your time. Ask me how I know...
