I used it for a few months, but felt too conspicuous (which I guess is the point).

PS. As with all halogen bulbs, Don't touch the bulb when installing. It will shorten the life of the bulb. Clean with rubbing alcohol if you get any finger oil on it.

Are you sure you don't want to keep this on your bike? These "flashers" wake up the driver behind you talkin on his cell phone and not paying attention. On Saturday morning I drove past (I was in my truck) a rear ender accident, a car ran into a big truck, how can people be that out to lunch? It reminds me to be carefull on my bike. Anyways, take care and enjoy riding! I hope this reply isn't a total downer.

I was almost rear ended at a stop light last month. I heard a screech of tires and then the guy had the audacity to start honking, like I was in his way. The light turned green a moment later so I'm not even sure he noticed the red light at all.

In any case, I've gotten a new motorcycle, with a different electrical interface, so I dont' have a use for this one anymore.
