first time !!! track day !!! be kind to me !!!

You did great! Wish I could get some track time in. Eventually I'll get there.
Good to see you're doing well and you're getting some serious time on a closed and safe circuit.

Later,

Excellent! Now that video, I enjoyed watching:thumbup:. Tell us more about what you thought of your first track day.

I have to believe that was more fun than dodging cars, gravel and trash. And a hell-of-a-lot safer for you and others.

Cool! I have to ask two questions, the dumb one first: are you the bike in the picture, or the camera bike?

And, do you know what kind of camera was used?

Miller Motorsports Park is only 75 miles away, hmmmm....

Excellent. You were racing the streets, ppl told you to take it to the track, and you did. How often do we see that? props!

Are you shifting without the clutch btw? :)

I´ll be on my first track day this sunday, I´m so looking forward to it that I can barely sleep! Nice video! Was it the windshield that gave that "watery" effect to it?

Let me know if you hear of any good events. They have Wide Open Wednesday where they let cars run for $20! It's great, I go as much as possible.
They also have a motorcycle skills course, but it's not that great. I wish they would do the WOW event for motorcycles. Hmmm... Maybe I'll throw them a line.

Miller does open track days don't they? I need to look up more info on that...

Boy did this thread get hijacked...back on subject, way to go on taking that speed to the track and staying safe  keep up the good work!

Thanks for the vid:thumbup:

Looked alright to me:rockon:

I could even hear the pegs scraping:D

Once you get to know the track better you'll be carving 'em up:thumbup:

So are you hooked?...lol....It's addictive for sure:rockon:.

Cheers
Mike

Is that what I can hear at the 13 second mark? I thought that was just the video.

I'll be looking forward to your next ones:thumbup:

Heh the video was very wavey, looked like you where going so fast you warped space and time, you obviously have a red bike

Is the guy in front the track master? Usually tracks require all lights to be taped over or the fuse pulled. But if he's braking to show good brake spots that'd make sense. I like that track it looks pretty fun.
