Finally got my FZ6

Hey all,

I have been waiting and waiting and I finally said "that's it"! I bought by 2008 colbalt blue fz6 on Saturday and am having a ball with it. What an awesome ride! Pics coming...

I was a little cautious initially since I've only ridden a Ninja 250 for about a 1000 miles and my brother's V-star for another 500, but I felt very confident from the first time I got on the fz6. I think the bike inspires you (and requires you) to ride to the best of your abilities.

I'm keeping her under 8k rpms during the break-in period. I'm already blown away by how much more responsive the bike is compared to my lil' ninja.

Welcome to the forum. If you don't have any Depends before you end your break in period, it may be a good idea to get some! It will be nowhere near any other MC experience that you may have had. Get gear and ride, ride, ride! WAHOO! GRUMPY

Congrats. I also picked up an FZ6 on Saturday, but I went with the Raven paint. I'm keeping my revs in check until the break in period is over, but I can't wait to reach for redline in a few weeks. I already have 200 miles on my bike and no complaints.
