can someone give me a strait picture shot from the back so i can see where the signals end up after putting it on... just want to make sure there is clearence for givi side cases.. oh and i'll be using the stock turn signals.. thanks..

Well wouldn't it kind of depend on what FE kit is being used? There are many diferent types out there.

bone - would you think that this would fit with the givi side racks .. the ones for the e2... oh and its not the motec ones, i think its the 351 racks.. :thumbup:

I have absolutly no idea mate. Never had, purchased or mounted racks of any mind. I have used Joe Rocket saddle bags with both of these setups. The bags would bend the stock rear signals down a bit on the first setup (picture).
I would suggest you ask a Givi owner.

I have just installed the SW Motech quick-release rack on my bike with the FAZR6 fender eliminator (with the stock signal lights). It does work, however the bags will make the signal lights hard to see from any angle but directly behind me. Because of that, I will also be getting the lighing system for the Givi bags.
I don't have any pictures yet (just put the rack on this weekend), but I'm hoping to get some tonight.

SWEET!!!! thanks man.. i dont care if the bend a little.. i dont want the racks on all the time and have thought about selling mine and getting the motechs... please post some pictures when you get a chance.. i would really appriciate it :thumbup::Flash:

OK, this is what I have so far. I'm hoping to do a full post in the Mods section once I get everything finished. I'm still waiting for the bags, so it's just the rack for now.
The first pic is straight on from the back. Although it looks pretty close, the signal lights won't hit the bags. I had removed my license plate from the FE at this point.
The second pic is from the side, and you can see how far back the signal lights sit. This is what will make them so hard to see. The SW-Motech rack is intended to attach to the stock fender. It comes with a cross bar that is supposed to hold your stock signal lights and plate. My intention is to cut off the pieces for the signal lights, but move my plate from the FE to the cross bar for better visibility when I'm carrying the bags.
While the rack itself is very stable, with minimal movement just the way it is, I'm still playing with ways to attached the cross bar back to the FE for added stability. It doesn't need to bear any weight, that's all done by the frame. This is just to prevent lateral movement.
In the third pic, you can see the little wings that attached under the exhaust. The bolt holes there were where the stock fender was attached. To make up for not having the fender there, I did have to add two extra washers on each side ensure that the attachment points lined up properly.

I just bought FAZR6's fender eliminator thinking it would fit in between the Givi PLX racks but it will not. So it is for sale for what I paid. $72.94 shipping included in the continental USA.
