Favorite Commercial Products:
  • Rogue: Brutal Bitter
  • Bells: Two Hearted
  • Whitbread (as far as I know they only make the one)
  • Left Hand: Milk Stout (There's also a local brewpub here in louisville that makes the most fantastic Milk Stout I've ever had).

However, I'd have to say the best beer, or at least the stuff I like the best, is what I brew on my own. Everything's better when you do it yourself.....well, not everything.....you get my point.:Im With Stupid:

Edit: oh yeah, my list is in no particular order....I have a hard enough time choosing favorites, much less ordering them....and I probably forgot a couple too.

It really depends on my mood and what I am eating but here's a quickie....
1. miller/ bud light (usually working on the car, around the house etc.)
2. Ichiban (Jap beer good with sushi and tepanyaki)
3. new castle (having steak or a nice dinner at home)
4. Guiness (usually with a shot of jamesons and a little bailey's ie; boilermaker style) (AKA Irish car bomb)
5. If i go to a restaurant that has micro brews I usually try them out.
6. aw eff it, I like all beer...... :)

Sam Adams above all.
Red Hook (Since I work across the street from the Brewery)
I'm not a fan at all of the domestic producers like AB and Miller.
About any microbrew, stouts, bock, amber ales and dark beers.

My goal is to make it to Dublin and have an actual Guinness before it travels...

Where do you work? I might be heading to work over there next week, mayhap lunch at Redhook and an IPA mid-day? No IPA if the weather allows and i bring the bike.

Beer is really disgusting. I don't drink, but uh when I did, the only beer that was OK was Corona.

Best Drink: Long Island Iced Tea. oh boy that'll fk you up.

I like a IBC, Barqs is ok, but not as good, A.W. is nice, but the best is home brewed at this little drive in in E. Alton ILL. You could buy it cold by the gallon and take it home. Mmmmmm pour it over Breyers vanilla bean ice cream and go to town.

When I drank, my favorite was what ever there was there. LOL

Well I suppose I'm spoilt for choice with all the continental beers over here.

Most people in the Netherlands have a crate of beer in the house, I generally have Heineken and Palm, I like Grolsch but it gives me a really bad head if I have one too many.
In the summer months I like Witte Raaf (similar to Hoegarden), and in the winter darker and amber beers (both Grolsch and heineken make nice bock beers).

For British Ales I like John Smiths, but it doesn't travel very well so only around Yorkshire. I like Bishops Finger & Pedigree and every now and then Murphys stout.

Oh by the way we have a local brewery in Alkmaar (very small) that is also a beer museum, and they have a great bar with a great selection of guest beers (on tap).

I have never had guiness...........i know its probly a UK thing more than anything. Also since i live in redneck-ville texas they only serve miller, bud, or whiskey.

I dont drink that much but when i do i guess it would have to be whiskey.....i figure you drink for the effect and nothing seems to get that better than whiskey..:Sport:

dont drink and ride!
