Engine Warning Light?

Question?

Went to switch bike on this morning & got a constant "Engine warning light"

Anyone got some ideas I should try before shipping the bike off to the mechanic? Is it a simple fuse or something?

Did the bike actually start? Did it sound like you had a flat/low battery?

I've had the engine warning light come on when the battery is nearly flat, so perhaps try charging it fully.

Bike has been a little sluggish starting in the last few weeks however its still starting OK with the light on. Will put the battery on the charge tomorrow & see if thats my problem.
