I think I am going to drill out the baffles, simply can't afford new cans and really just want something slightly louder. I did a search on the forum and got plenty of info on how to do it. I am however wondering if you have to change anything else. My son has a R6 and it seems that with any of the aftermarket exhaust systems he's looked at there is a need for a "commander" which I gather changes the air fuel mixture. I have a concern that decreasing the "back pressure" will make the bike run hotter. Has anybody who has drilled the baffles experienced any down side other then not liking the sound?? Thanks!!

I think that the back pressure stays the same as long as you don't make the muffler holes bigger in diameter.
Did mine before I bought Akra's, and the bike was running fine without power commander or re-adjustement

Drilling the stock muffler won't change anything like a actually exhaust system would so you'll be fine.
