you know you look at the thread title and think, I'll take a peek at that & then regret doing so! But it sounded way worse than it looked. I don't think I could have done it Boo....so kudos for you!

I've done that before, It feels soooo much better after releasing the pressure. That said, I'll only do it if it bothers enough to keep me from sleeping just b/c it still freaks me out a bit.
I've only ever used a drill bit, under 1/16", and very, very sharp. I just roll the bit between my fingers using a little bit of down pressure of my other hand. The blood usually does squirt a little bit b/c the hole is so small, but not too much.

yep a hot pin will do it easily and quickly with less pressure than drilling....therefore less pain the liquid oooze prevents the nerves from YELPING
