Well, this rear BT-016 served me well for around 4,500 mles. By chance I used these tires on two long trips which both included a few hundred miles of highway (in recent history most of my tires have managed to do much less highway). I had camping gear on the bike for about 2400 of the miles (~38 psi cold) and light gear on the bike for about 1400/1500 (38 psi cold). The rest of the time I had a mix of no gear and a full top case (lap top etc). no 2 up riding. Kept the rear pressure in the high 30s, front in the mid 30s.

I had to change out the front tire at around 3,000 miles.

Here is a picture of the rear tire:

Nice and blue...look at that clean sprocket and chain set!

Still somewhat round...but handling was ****ty. Only way to hold a line IN A CORNER was to be on the front brake or on the throttle a decent amount.

I don't usually keep my tires TOO much past the wear bars. This was a unique situation. I thought they would make it longer through a recent longer 3 day ride but I was wrong (I had been inspired by Vegas_Rider perhaps :))

Here is the front which has about 1500 miles of mixed riding on it. 35 to 36 psi cold, limited luggage, no 2up riding.

I'm taking this set off and replacing with a set of Dunlop Q2s I picked up for $190 shipped. Probably going to throw the front up on a local forum for local pick up only....

Where did you pick them Q2s up from?
