yeah, thats my boss at work... nothin gonna get him to learn... his first bike was a that busa... i guess some people have money, some people have common sense...

Nice variety of bikes and looks like a fun day to go riding with friends.

What windscreen are you running? I like the way it flows and looks with the black fairing.

Nice pics mate, I cringe though not to see you all in full gear.
you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink... i had my boots jacket, jeans gloves and helmet, the wife had her helmet jacket, gloves, and jeans... she was slackin on the boots though. Ill have to get her something here soon. The rest of the guys are on their own... if its to hot, restricting, uncool,.. yada yada to wear gear, so be it... im not gonna take my chances though

Looks like a good time. Glad you and your woman has the sense to gear up. Cant say the same for the others in the group.

+1,000 on that!

I feel naked and odd on the bike when I am not fully suited up. And - that only happens when I wash the bike and move it from the house to the shed where I store it.

I noticed mate, still, I can't go out with jeans on, will just shred to bits if you go sliding, I suppose if you feel safer you have a happier ride. Wouldn't mind some of those new kevlar jeans for knocking around town in, wouldn't wear them on the motorway though!

I remember on a T.V. show here in the UK, a bloke was testing a scooter, luckily he was wearing his boots when he came off because it trapped his ankle, he still broke it but he said if he wasn't wearing them it would have most likely took his foot off.

i think if i get any pants, ill probably just get the icon style jeans with the knee plates... i think they are a good idea, but still "street" looking, i dont do enough aggressive driving to need a 1 piece or anything

i think its always better safe then sorry... but at the same time you cant be 100% safe... just like not wearing a helmet in a car... sometimes you just have to live with the fact that your going to get a little hurt if you crash. unless we are all gonna wear space suits. hehe
