WD = good for cleaning =>>> BAD cause every dust molecule in the area will stick. . .

Soap and water after WD and WAX it once in a while. Clean up is much easier.. .. ..

Can't believe no one has mentioned kerosene yet. Fantastic for cleaning all the goo off your rims, same for cleaning your chain.

After using the absolutely terrible Liquid Wrench chain lube, my rear rim was covered in lube fling. A regular soapy water wipe didn't touch it. Kerosene took it off in a flash

Well, I decided to go ahead and try a little Plexus on a older but clean microfiber towel and I gotta tell ya - Wow! It took off the grime easily and left the finish nice and new. Bonus - dust, grime, etc. doesnt seem to stick now and what does wipes off very easy. Plexus was originally designed for both paint and plastic for airplanes. I use a light amount sprayed on a microfiber towel on all my flat paint on the bike with great results - frame, swingarm, and now rims! Plexus Rocks
