Worst way to start a vacation. Heading out in a mercury cougar (the 1999) on the way to the beach. Squirrel plays chicken and loses sitting bolt upright as I'm pulling down a street to get onto the highway. Spent the test of the trip remembering the scene in the rear view -- a headless squirrel twitching in the road -- still sitting upright.
