There was a thread on here about this mod a short time ago. I think it is a forum member.
I think it is a great idea except having the original exhaust covers there does look a little goofy.
I am sure someone who is good at fabricating could come up with a cover for the tail that looks better. and this would be the coveted inexpensive exhaust mod we are all pining for. I think the OP said he used R1 headers gotten cheap off ebay.

it wouldn't be so bad if someone did the R6 tail swap along with this, but it looks really weird with both exhausts on it..
