I'm with Pete: 358 miles in two months? Why own a bike? That is just under 6 miles a day, or in some cases here, a mere two weekends out for some folks.
I'm not trying to be an arse or sarcastic, just plain honest. Why do you own a bike if you're not riding it? Thanks!!
It's a perfectly fair question! To be honest, I bought the bike because I wasn't racking up much mileage and felt dumb lugging a 3400lb. car around on a 5 mile commute. I ride for pleasure, but never more than 30 or 40 miles at a time. It's not at all that I don't love motorcycling, it's just all I can fit in to my schedule.
I still think a bike is the best solution to my commuting and performance needs. I also still think the FZ is the best bike for me and probably always will be- again because of my style and needs. I guess I'm tempted to try something new while I have the opportunity and can probably break even on the FZ.
I'll be undecided until next week when I can really get a good ride in on the Trumpy, but I really appreciate all the comments and input. If (and that's still a big if) I do decide to sell, you guys will be the first to know! (But can I still come and play on the forums? Please??)
