Conversion; problem with mirrors.

I'm converting my '99 Fazer into a streetfighter and I'm having trouble with the mirrors. Got a standard set of mirrors but cannot fit the right hand mirror.

Can anyone confirm if the (mirror) screw thread (in the master cylinder) is a left hand thread? As I've heard Yamaha use left hand threads.

It's true, they use an inverted thread... I had the same problem with my '99 XJ6.

These should help... Yamaha mirror adapters - eBay.
