Hi Guys,

Loving the bike, about the only think I'm finding annoying is the very choppy throttle in gears 1 and 2.

Seems fine from 3 upwards, but in 1 & 2 there is a definite line where the throttle just drops off.

Accelerating seems better, but for example when i just want to roll off the throttle a bit, it seems to just drop off.

Anything I can do to smooth this out? I know something like a power commander might help, but don't really want to go down that road.

I was very concerned about this as well when I got the bike (my first bike). But after about 1000 miles it is not am issue at all. You may be tired of hearing this, but the truth is that you will get used to it... Just keep riding. I assume this is your first fuel injected bike?

At low speeds practice using the rear brake lightly when going on/off throttle...it can really smooth out the jerkiness if done correctly. Very useful when slowing down to make a smooth left hand turn at <10mph.
