Check out this mod

kind of weird... looks a bit wrong because to me at least the eyes are too far out and you can see through them (obviously to let the light through) and they just look like weird shadows to me. rather than actual Eyes. Kind of a cool idea and it might look better in person, but from those pictures it is not for me.

How much light do you think this will lose you?

10% loss of light on a motorcycle is quite a bit of available light. Motorcycles need all the light and visibility we can get so we can see, and be seen by other motorists.

This is one seriously dangerous mod that should never leave the parking lot.

I think our front end is plenty bug-eyed as it is. I don't see a need to enhance that any more. But hey, its not my money or my bike.

ONLY 10% ???

That could be the 10% that saves your life. Cagers cannot see us with Hi Def bulbs, two lights on an vis vests. we need all the help we can get and not fancy patterns in headlight casings.

Any loss of lighting is not good. There's a line between what looks hot and what's safe. I'll lean towards the safe and being seen everytime.

While I agree with the principle that less light is bad. Most aftermarket bulbs put out a lot more light than the OEM's. My Philips MotoVision bulbs are ~40% brighter. So if you upgrade the bulbs and add the graphics (+40% then -10%) it's still an increase in light output.

Anyways it's not a look I would go for on my bike. It could look interesting in person and I bet kids would love it, but it would probably get a few laughs too.
