Really nice bike, I think he'll enjoy every second. I'm "looking" at this stage and the Triumph Tiger or FZ1 crossed my mind - but with the price difference between the two (and is a Yami)...it must be a FZ1 then...between those two, but do I need a 1 liter...
then think I'll still wait for the FZ6R, nothing in South Africa yet.

Ya know:

I was looking at the balance of the Triumph site. Am I nuts, or do some of you older guys (and ladies) [kind of] like the Bonnevilles as well? I think if I was in the market for this kind of machine, I'd pick this over a HD - on looks anyway!

The Bonneville is an all time classc which is why they were reintroduced.

The history of triumph is also interesting:

One of my good friends got a Daytona last spring. He's been very pleased with it - to the point of rarely touching the two other bikes in his garage. Its a sharp looking bike. He rode it to a Hog rally we were hanging out at last summer and it got a lot of praise even from that crowd.

Complements the FZ6 perfectly. (I have the 06 D675 version)
