Changes again

After moving from my 09 FZ6 and selling it to my friend and jumping on an 848 and really not liking it, I decided to take a 11 Triumph Street Triple 1050 for a test ride. That was good enough and took it home for good. The bike is awesome but I still love the FZ and can take it whenever I want.

I really liked the motor but the ride is so harsh and even with spending money last week to get the stock suspension setup for my weight 172lbs it still is very harsh and I am not tall 5;7" and the lean over the tank is a lot. This bike is better for taller guys 6ft and more. The bike handles amazing and great motor but just way to uncomfortable to just cruise on for 100 miles or so. You cannot just jump on it and go ride you have to ride it hard and it hurts after 30 miles. Great for a track bike and only likes to be ridden above 80mph.

It really is the best looking bike out there.

Also I am moving down to south OC next week and need to connect with some riders that know the area and the good spots to ride and avoid traffic.

Nice ride bro. Just FYI, it's a SPEED triple 1050. The STREET is a 675 motor.

As for OC, you'll get it figured out, but there are some great guys down there to ride with. Most of the traffic patterns are pretty predictable. As for fun roads to ride, it's ACH, Big Bear Mtn, Palomar, and many others out there. Just pull up google maps and look for something twisty east of town and you'll be a happy camper.

Awesome bike (848) but as you said a lot of people complain that it is really bad on their body. I'm also 5'7" and need to stretch sometimes. The new Speed looks great and I don't remember seeing a pic of it with the other plastics but must say it looks( how do the English say it?) Brilliant! Why it's Crackin!

If you'r going to meet some buds in OC and you folks are looking for some fun stuff you could hook up with a couple of us here in SD are and we could show you some really fun rides in our amusement park! :BLAA:

Very nice bike. :thumbup: You guys switching over to those Speed Triples are going to end up costing me some serious coin.

Best way to hook up with some really nice riders in the SoCal/OC area is to join our NorCal/SoCal ride in July. I know that Cali rider will have a great route planned for our Saturday ride.
