Brake light

Anyone elses Brake light wiggle? I tried to tighten the screws, but they are already torqued down. It is secure, but id like it to not wiggle.

It wiggles so it doesnt break. If you want you could shim it so it doesnt wiggle but then it would break and wiggle worse.

I asked the tech at the dealership about this when I went to get my frame-sliders installed. His suggestion was to buy a bit of adhesive foam at the hardware store and stick it between the rear plastic and the light so that the wiggle reduces. I haven't tried it yet, but no reason it should not work..

There is a little foam pad above the light and a couple of small pads below, between the light and plastic.

I don't understand what the big deal is about the brakelight wiggling? Personaly I don't notice it wiggling when I ride. This has been discussed in other threads and we all agreed that all of our brake lights has some play.

lol Yes the brake light moves, yes it was designed that way, no theres nothing wrong or broke so why fix it

I think mine wiggles from when I did a monster wheelie and drug it on the ground for a few inches then brought the front wheel back down.

Now this is funny. I justed noticed mine last night when wiping the bike down and was wondering the same thing and now I know it is normal:thumbup:
