Hi, everyone.

When I wheel my bike out of the garage (engine off), I can hear the front brake pads rubbing oh-so-lightly on the rotors. It's nothing like actually applying the brakes, but I'd prefer there to be air between the pads and rotors when I'm not squeezing the lever. Three questions:

1) Is this normal/a non-issue?
2) Is there an easy way to adjust the brake clearance?
3) How much clearance is appropriate?

The bike is an '06 FZ6 (~9200 mi). Blue, too. And it's new to me, so I don't know how long since the brakes were looked at by a professional. They feel smooth and solid in use, though.

Thanks in advance.

1) Normal, and a non issue. As long as the rotor does not get hot while riding without applying the brakes, you're good to go.
2) No
3) See (1). :)

A little/slight amount of rubbing is typically normal. As long as it's not enough to cause resistance in moving the wheel.

Might want to pop the pads out and have a quick inspection and clean out any dust/dirt build up. Calipers are easy to get off (2 botls) and the pads are super easy to pop in and out.

This might help ya out: Boneman's FZ6 Site - EBC Brake Pads

Oh and :welcome:
