cool, I didn't see the size listed at first....but I think your math is off..1122cubic inches, which is about 18L each. :thumbup:

I am hoping to use this to carry all my food for a 3-4 day camping trip coming up in the next 10 days. It should also help to strap down my tent, duffel and crazy creek. Thanks for the heads up on the closeout.

Oh snap...your right I hope none of my students see this! I'm a geometry teacher at a local High School, how embarrassing! I always tell my students to check their work...LOL!

I ordered the Fieldsheer Contour Saddlebags. They arrived within 8 days of being ordered. I tired a few ways to mount then. I currently have them configured for two-up riding. The passenger can use the grips and pegs. When i travel with gear, I will mount them higher so that I can use them as a bit of a balance for my tent and pack.

They attach fairly easily with plastic spring locks, but I will pick up a few more so that I can use the included locks at the front and rear for securing said tent. There were also additional pads that go between the bags and the bike to protect from scratching.

I have fit a fair bit of stuff in here... mostly picnics and dinner supplies. Two regular meals for two fit well... for camping I expect to fit a few days of food. My rain gear (pants and gators) are kept in the side pockets, with a few small tools and bungie cords. All in all, I am happy with this product. Easy to un-mount, small enough not to be a bother and big enough to hold what I need.
