So this past Saturday I proposed to my girlfriend. :cheer: We've been dating for 3 years now, and, technically, I was planning to do it in August/Sept this year when we have trip to Greece planned. However, during a small argument I realized that she had some doubts about whether or not I was committed (which I was for a while, but we have slightly different views on "stages" of commitment - not going to bore you with details), so I made one-the-spot decision not to "torture" her for the next few months. Needless to say that was unexpected, so per her own words, I won this round. I just like to throw a curveball like that every once in a while.
Btw, the first thing she mentioned when we discussed what has changed now, that we are engaged, was "now I can really invest into motorcycle gear, since i know I'll have lots of riding ahead of me".
She rode pillion with me on our third or fourth date (mind you, that was right after i got my first bike and I warned her) and bought her own helmet/jacket/gloves right after. Does this mean we should get matching gear?
Should we ditch the idea of diamond ring and get a BMW K1300R instead?
I have a feeling my life expectancy will depreciate significantly.
