Bento Bean ALMOST ran my bike over!!!! :-(

I know - useless thread w/out pictures. . .

But - I have many windows to view the street where my bike is parked with the cage's in a parallel format.

Apparently today was the day when a guy decided he needs new business and tries to shove the Mobile bento/taco wagon in where a small sedan was once parked. This thing is 26 feet long and when I saw it 3 inches from my bike (and backing in closer) I ran out of the cube farm as if my pants were on fire!!!! I was Screaming and Yelling Stoooooooooppppppppp as the bento wagon halted an INCH from the bikes tire!!!

Talk about about heart attack! :Flip: The guy says he has every right to that spot no matter how close he gets. He even said its' "legal to bump a vehicle" while parking..... OMG WTF has this world come to????? MORE>>> :Flip:

Its a innocent defenseless FZ! Must you park on top of it? That MF Scared the hell out of me! Anyway - no harm no foul but god it made me run! Everyone in the building was like, "Did he hit, did he hit?" Thankfully No was my reply!

And yes, he almost hit the car in front of the void. We both moved our vehicles as the prick was adamant to keep moving in.

I agree, what is the matter with people these days? I used to think that it was a generational thing - "these young whippersnappers these days, they have no respect!" But I think it's more than that, people truly are devolving in terms of being decent to one another.

Good for you for saving your bike. Tell that guy that it's also legal to call the Health Department for a spot inspection of a f-ing taco truck run by a$$holes. :Flip:

He's an idiot. He should know that people who park near him are potential customers anyway. Motorcyclists gotta eat, too. Just tell all your coworkers and anyone else you see about to eat there that you wouldn't eat out of that truck, and don't say why.

Nope, I wasn't so nice - and to the last point, I told him I will do my damn'dst to discourage co-workers from eating from his rolling "Bento Bean". . . <-that'd be the name on the side boyz...

He, said he needed to earn a living and that was best spot - blah blah blah. . . Fact is, I need to too, and you running my bike over gonna cost ya. . . he didn't give a f'n sh!t about noth'n.

/end rant - sadly, the cheap baster'ds around me bought tacos for $1.25 so he'lll be back. I reckon I'll be laughin as he backs over their cars.

I'm extremely glad that I don't have to park along any street for any reason. My office is all private parking lot and I park my FZ6 on the sidewalk right next to the building under an overhang, safe from a$$hats!
