I priced up the standard fit Yuasa battery for my S1 FZ6 (YT12B-BS). Even my battery supplier said they were too expensive and he had never sold many (in Australia). My battery guy is chasing up an alternative, probably an AGM.
I would like to hear of any alternatives from other FZ6 riders? I would prefer to buy in AU, unless it's so cheap that the lack of warranty doesn't matter.
The climate I live in is relatively warm, temp never drops below about 7C, so I ride year round. So a batteries ability to be stored for months in winter isn't really important.
