I just bought Canyon Dancer Bar end straps to tie down bike....instructions warn that it might damage the bar ....anyone have info on its strength and how to remove them? They appear to be some kind of slider?

Post a link or picture of the exact product you bought. Canyon Dancer should fit perfectly on FZ6 and sit on grips. It should never touch bar ends.
