anyone match 06 red paint( not color rite)

has anyone tried to match the 06 paint with something different? i know its a 3 stage paint , its called deep red metallic on color rite website , shift red or lava red is what yamaha calls it , i do not want to take the hard and expensive way i need to repaint my fairing after i fix it . if not , i will call up the dealership , maybe just change the bikes color alltogether:ban:

As far as I know Color-rite is the only "good" company, but it's very expensive, however I discovered it was the same cost to repaint the entire bike with a custom color, I used R&M Daimont base and color coat with 5 Star's Maxx Shine clear coat.

If want a new color you will need:
Base coat
Color coat
Clear coat
Catalyst "aka" Hardner
Mid temp reducer

i will be doing a duplicolor metalcast red , with silver flakes base coat . it should match pretty good heres a pic
