What is so impracticle about it? It has a wind-screen and a seat and headlights. About what we have stock.

I meant more for that scorpion tale... the front end is very practical (personally I don't really like the headlight set up but I like the nakeds better so my opinion is kind of bias)

But yea, that tail reminds me of the streetfighters you see in bike shows...

How the hell do you carry anything with that tail? Saddlebags are out and probably large backpacks as well. It is HAWT though. :D

I wonder where thay fit the exhaust?

Or the licenseplate

My point exactly when I say that tail seems a little impractical...

Maybe this thing is photo shoped? That or it was custom made for that bike and isnt for retail?

But either way it is sexy :rockon:

ok just kidding :) It was a bitch to contact them -they`re in Germany-, but my rusty german got me a quote!

=> Seat/rearend:
- rearend itself: 375 Euros ($480.00)
- custom subframe: 153 Euros ($195.00)
- tail light: 80 Euros ($126.00)
- seat and back pads: 81 Euros ($101.00)
- License plate kit: 38 Euros ($49.00)

=> Front fender: 89 Euros ($113.00)

=> Headlight: 490 Euros ($625.00)

Here is the link: http://www.junkdesign.de/ (go to "news" and then "Fazer 600")

If I hadn`t crashed my FZ, I would have gone that route... I love that setup... As you may have noticed, the exhaust is missing, so here is what I`d recommend: R6 lasers + sweet swingarm:

Waxex,

Do you have pics of the entire bike with the R6 swingarm? From that angle it looks rather goofy, but I would like to see the whole thing before making the final call.

Wonder what the weight gain is by switching that over?

Neat though.

WAVEX, YOU ARE A GENIUS! :rockon::rockon::rockon: I got an answer in less that 12 hours.:eek:

I like the side exhaust idea, an undertail unit would be disproportionate with the new subframe... Any exhausts that work with the stock swingarm?

Yes, it may seem impractical to those of you who use the Fz6 for touring aspects. However, I like to focus more on the sport side of the bike, and want that to be the focus of my Fz6. Saddlebags have never been something I felt I would need unless I went on a long (200 miles+) ride, same reason why I never installed the gigantic touring screen my dad got me last christmas. I could see a tank bag in my future though...

Practicality is a factor for me to the extent that the bike is comfortable, rideable, street legal, and its modifications are solidly constructed. Considering the majority of my rides consist of trips to work, around town, up and down PCH, and wherever else i dont want to be stuck in a cage; This works perfect for me.:thumbup:

...Now, time to put everything I own on ebay!:shakehead:

You are welcome :)

That R6 laser exhaust would work with the stock swingarm...

If you decide to do all of these mods, you will have to let me know when you`re done so I can come check it out in person! That FZ would become my new favorite one ever (taking the lead over my old V3.0).

bmccrary: sorry man but I don`t have a pic of the whole bike... it took some work to make the R6 swingy fit the FZ, but if you can do it, it looks badass imo.

Here is a pic of the R6 with the Laser setup:
