alignment of the handlebars to the front wheel?

Thank you all for your help. I ran and got the right size sockets today at lunch, loosened it all up and after a few kicks in the right direction it's straight.

Now I need to decide If I'm going to replace the faring at all.

I think the parts I need would be less than $200.

At least you have the older model where the plastics are CHEAP! the new one is over $200 just for the main piece! :eek:

hi im new to this forum.i recently bought my fz6 and i love it!got it with 8000km on the clock so its quite new still.i have noticed the same problem on my bike,that is the handlebars are slightly out of alighnment wen riding.i hav already tried loosenin the t clamps and straightening them but after lockin it all up again i found it to be skew again! should i hav also loosened the pinch bolt that holds the axel to allow the forks to rotate in clamps?it it not bent bars ar i can see that the top clamp is not in line with bottom one.ideas anyone? thanx!!
