Alarm & fitting

Good evening chaps,

Can anybody recommend an alarm system and fitter. I live in South London. I have been looking at the Acumen System any advice? The Scorpio IS900 looks great but no thatcham benefit.

I know that if you buy a Thatcham approved "Datatool" alarm mail order say from M & P fitting is included in the price and a fitter comes to you to fit the alarm. :thumbup:

I use a Talon T-3300i and it works great. The only thing it doesn't have is the fob doesn't vibrate if you're out of hearing range.. although the siren is pretty damn piercing and loud. It's priced great, and the FZ6 kit it plug and play no modding required.

Acumen is probably as good as it gets..but at a price..although they do a DIY easy fit one which is priced pretty good..other options are the fancy alarms you can get stateside

What sort of percentage discount do you think you get if you have a thatcham cat1 alarm. The US alarms look good but no insurance discount. I would like to pay no more than £300 but hopefully £250ish.

I have the Meta upgrade form mine to cat 1+2. I doubt it makes much more than £10 or £20 difference on my insurance.
