Thanks FZRblack -

For xmas last year I got the morimoto H1 projectors and went right ahead with the retrofit. It was easier than I thought it would be. Alignment, as you said using reflector screws, a non-issue.

Using a spare headlight housing aquired here on the forum.. The only thing I had to do to it was to dremel off some of the ring around the H7 side so the retraining bracket would fit. That and I opted to paint the reflectors and mini gatling shrouds gloss black.. Looks really nice.

Very pleased with the quality of the beam and nice sharp cutoff.

Been too busy repairing from Hurricane Sandy flood to take photos

FB, awesome. Sounds like a retrofit that I did for Larklorn. Yeah, you had to trim around the H7, I had to trim some of the shrouds to get them to fit, and also some of the reflector housing on the back side to allow for all the wires needed to go. Glad you were able to do it. Like I said before, I offer my services for people afraid or unable to do this mod on their own, or if they prefer how I do it. I definitely encourage getting the kit and doing it yourself if you are confident. I could have saved you some coin on the kit, I get it cheaper than direct from TRS.

I got one of the kits through FZRblack. He had it to my place in just a few days, and was very prompt with PM's, I installed the kit myself, and he was very helpful through pm's with questions I had concerning the install, and always with quick responses. Here is the finished product!!

Where is the LED mounted?

I'd be worried the HID heat would kill the LED. . . have you felt how hot the Morimoto reflector bowl gets after running it for a few minutes?

what is the pic of the new accessory? Im not sure what I am looking at.

I will have to send you a PM about getting a kit, this is something I would love to do to my bike. I wish you were close to me I would bring my bike and have you do it since I lack the time and workspace.

Do you have a pic gallery of some of the other LED options?

It is mounted on the plastic lens holder at the top. I have researched about putting LED's there, and I have yet to find a definitive that the heat would kill it. I had a plan to mount it somewhere more shielded, but the lens didn't look as good.

It is a colored demon eye, just makes the lens glow with the color of choice.

Shoot me a PM with what you are interested in, and I can send you a quote back. Work is minimal once you get it back.

Who is willing to do a retrofit with Green LED angel eyes? TRS has some they want to move.

Me!

You are not the closest to me and bike season is upon us so i was debating on buying the parts from you or sending it.

Any chance you have a pic with the HID with green angel eyes?

Never had someone pick the green option. You would be the first.
