I just bought my '05 FZ6, and one of the first things that I want to do to it is add an accessory outlet / battery tender charging port. I plan on using a powerlet / RV roof connector plug. I want to have a switch where I can switch the outlet from being always on, to on when the ignition switch is on. I have drawn a diagram of how I want to wire it, and I wanted to see what you all thought. Will a battery tender still be able to charge with this set up? I also would like to find an off-on-off switch with a led light built in, does anyone know of a switch like this? Also, does anyone have any pics of where they have installed an auxiliary outlet like this on their FZ6? What amp fuze should I use?
