A quick question about the Rockies

Does that black stuff under their eyes really help with the sun?

I'm talking about the Colorado Rockies baseball team Just at the game today and wondering.

HOLY CRAP Who says TV is useless? I just saw this on Mythbusters just 2 days ago, and YES it does make a difference. It was something like 10 lux of light difference between with and without.

Let me take a that back a little. They said that it is "Plausible" that it makes a difference, but the light meter did show around 10 lux difference between with and without
