I couldn't agree more. Enough is enough! I went to the International Motorcycle Show in Cleveland yesterday and thought it would help my "cabin fever". But, not a chance. It didn't help and may have actually made it worse when I stepped outside and there was more snow and ice!
I managed to sneak in a quick one and a half hour ride yesterday - knowing well that the next ride might be another week away. Last time I got to ride was 10 days ago

The Angry Blue Mantis
Central VA hit near 70 on Sunday and today it's high 30's and rain/wet snow mix. I could have ridden to work if the weather had lasted.

Is it worth going to? I noticed it's going to be in Seattle in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if it was worth the cost and time to go. I will have to fly and spend the night in Seattle.

And here we are getting near 50 deg c the exact opposite, but with similar issues, way to hot to go outside, or doing anything stuck inside sitting on my behind.
Mostly dry here, even though we need the rain. Forecast is low 30's and high teens for the rest of the week! With a twist of Freezing rain for the weekend. :Flip:

Sorry to hear this Eric, not meaning to brag but we've had one of the warmest winters on record uptil now, and it's not going to get worse in the coming week, it's about 7 degrees celcius at the moment and we've hardly had any frost this year

Yeah, for $15 to spend the day perusing all the latest manufactures' offerings, and hang with a bunch of friends talking about nothing but motorcycles, I'd say yes. The major manufacturers all attended this year which was nice to see. Maybe the industry is starting to come back. But, I didn't see MV Agusta. The aftermarket stuff was a little on the light side compared to previous years. I was hoping to see the new CBR300 and the KTM 390, but neither are out yet I was told. It was nice to see Indian with a big display and it looked like they brought everything. The models in the booth weren't too bad to look at either :Flash: They also had customs placed all around the show. I'm always impressed with their attention to detail. Roland Sand's "No Regrets" bike was there and is a real piece of work as all of his bikes are. Interestingly, there were no Track Day vendors. There are usually a half dozen or so. Ohio's MSF had a booth like always. Lot's of leather, some good deals on helmets and gear. Battery Tender had a line of lithium batteries which may be the next purchase for the track bike-sooooo light! It seems like a lot of booth's had some sort of sign-up\give away, but the pesimistic side of me thinks they were just collecting contact info.
All in all, I'd give it a :thumbup:

The biggest reason to NOT go to a motorcycle show? It makes you less happy with your current bike and you risk making a impulse decision you can't afford.
