In short: My FZ6 has leaky fork seals. Have a friend who recently bought a 2009 Yamaha R6S, who plans to replace his front with R1 forks. SO his R6S forks may be available, however one of them is leaking too.
Would the R6S forks be an upgrade over stock 2004 FZ6 forks? They're both conventional, but are the internals different to warrant the swap for any performance gain?
Plan to tryseal mate first, then swap seals if need be. But this option just came up and I'm curious. Let me know what you guys think, cheers
