I have an '06 shift red fz6 that I am trying to sell. I has just over 1500 miles on it (cant be exact since im up at school), never dropped or beat on, always garaged and covered. Immaculate condition, Ive done all the work on it myself, oil changed at 637 miles, lubed chain every few hundred miles. All stock, Just got in new handgrips (black with red tear drops), wheel stripes (red and reflective for nighttime), an accent light kit for it (red) and have a matching HJC helmet for it. Was gonna put them on but had surgery over my break so never got a chance to. Willing to toss all those in with the sale. Looking for $5400.

Will post pictures, having a little difficulty getting them up there. But have some on my profile in meantime

need to get this thing sold. $5200, giving you guys the chance before it goes up on cycle trader.

That price is pretty high considering current market. KBB says 4900 but KBB/NADA are always over the top for bikes by atleast $500. Don't expect more than 4K for it. I have been seeing 07s consistently selling for 4.5K recently.

Not trying to be negative or anything, I hope you can get your price.

But I bought my 06 with 3,200 miles for $4,200 almost a year ago?

I'm sure your's is a sweet bike. Good luck.

Amazing how these bikes depreciate dollar wise as soon as it leaves the dealership.

As far as getting top dollar, you can probably get more money for your bike if you part it out. But that's a lot of work and hassle. But there are a lot of members here who will probably canibalize your Fizzer in just a matter of days.

Have you tried trade? My dealer will buy bikes out right so you don't actually have to trade in to buy something else. I find it weird people don't look into this more often.

I got my 06 cheap cause it had a few scuffs that I fixed for 3500 USA. My dealer will buy my bike outright for 4200 USA. lol, I'm not selling but nice to know.
