12V outlet on Naked

Hi guys,
I've been a member now for quite some time and I've learned a lot by just reading the various posts on 'mods'. (just red wheel stripes and Grip Puppies so far, can't really call those mods)
But at the moment I'm kinda stumped.
I'd like to add a 12V power outlet to a FZ6N so I can charge my iPhone while driving. The phone itsself will most likely be stored in a tankbag (or if I have to, in my jacket) so a mount is not necessary.

The question now is where to place the outlet without it filling up with water while driving AND to be positioned in a inconspicuous place on the bike.
With a regular FZ6 it's not a problem due to the fairing but there's no such thing on a naked.

I'm now thinking maybe to install the 12V socket below the seat and just run a iPhone cable from there to the tankbag.
Might be less invasive and there's less to mess up with my 2 left hands.

I have two 12v outlets on one of my naked FZ6's....one each side of the bike, mounted inside the little triangular cut-outs in the frame just below the seat....they fit perfectly, are easy to wire back to the battery, under the tank, and for ease of use, they are great, as they sit behind my knee's, and in front of my pillions legs....My pillion uses one for her i-phone etc, i use the other for my GPS....

Even after 2 years I still have to make a decent pic of my bike.
I'd better wash it down first... it hasn't seen any soap in a loooooong while.

Thanks Mexi-can't, that's nice inconspicuous way of placing the outlet.
Unfortunately I'd have to run the iPhone cable all the way from the ****pit to the tankbag and I'm afraid the cable isn't that long.
I'm sticking with the under-the-seat option...for now.

I never had a problem with charger cables reaching to the tank bag. That outlet was one I got from walmart and has sealed connections also the top has a gasket and a spring to keep it closed and sealed when not in use.

I just recieved my Powerlet cable and usb adaptor last week. I am opting to install the powerlet under my seat. The usb adaptor should be long enough to run to a tank bag or my tail bag. Atleast that is what I am hoping.
Check out the the powerlet website they also options to install the powerlet on rearset, ect...

I will let you know how things go after I install.
