Obviously stock is not the best way to go as far as long term comfort. I am looking to upgrade and found a corbin i like but its fit for an fz6r... i just wanted to verify that it would fit right on. also while i have your attention, any suggestions on best places to get good seats?

Unfortunately, the FZ6R seat is a completely different part from a completely different bike. Keep your eyes open on the forum and eBay as they do show up once in a while. You have to be quick though...the tend to go fast.

You may also want to search Top Saddlery; they are another top quality option (Although I prefer Corbin as well).

the R has a totally different seat, separate sections for rider/passenger,
if you spend a second and do some google image searching it becomes
obvious.....like above TS is a good option...there's a Yamaha comfort
seat, but I've heard it aint too comfortable....another option is to find a
local auto upholstery guy that does bikes and bring him the seat, that
way you get to talk about what it is you want changed
